TCL Elettronica, based in Lucca, Italy, was founded in 1966 by the Guarnieri family and initially distributed active and passive electronic components, with a commitment to both industrial and retail businesses.

Over the years the company has been consolidating a close collaboration with foreign suppliers and manufacturers, providing a fast and high quality service first locally and later in the rest of Italy.

Since 1985 TCL has been specialising in the research and development of electronic applications designed by TCL or by third parties.

While operating in several industries (industrial automation, oil and petrochemical field, product automation, production of full custom products) TCL in the '90-s introduced itself in the nautical field through a collaboration with the main players in the sector offering a customer tailored service.
